A leading private organization is seeking a SOC Lead to guide their team in delivering top-tier threat detection and response capabilities. As the SOC Lead, you will play a key role in driving the operational excellence and strategic vision of the Security Operations Center, ensuring the safety and resilience of critical systems.
Functie
As a SOC Lead, you will manage a team of skilled analysts and engineers, overseeing the day-to-day operations and development of the Security Operations Center. Your role includes improving threat detection capabilities, coordinating incident response efforts, and mentoring the team to keep pace with emerging threats. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and best practices.
Functie-eisen
- Proven experience in a SOC environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role;
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity tools, techniques, and frameworks (eg, SIEM, SOAR, MITER ATT&CK);
- Expertise in managing incident response, threat analysis, and vulnerability management processes;
- Experience with compliance and regulatory requirements related to cybersecurity (eg, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR);
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team;
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable;
- A bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Aanbod
- 40 hours per week;
- Project duration of 6 months, with a possibility for extension;
- Flexible working arrangements: both onsite and remote options available after the induction months;
- Immediate start date preferred;
- Good hourly rate;
- Fluent in Dutch.
