For an interesting project we are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Privacy Officer, who will strengthen organisation data protection and compliance.

The client is a well established retail company with a strong presence across the Netherlands. As they are known for their commitment to quality, customer trust, and community value, they are seeking a Privacy Officer to support their legal department in safeguarding data privacy and ensuring regulatory compliance. As they continue to invest in secure and customer-centric operations, the Privacy Officer will play a key role in shaping privacy strategy and supporting internal teams.
Functie
As a Privacy Officer, you will play a central role in ensuring the organisation’s compliance with privacy regulations such as the GDPR. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining privacy policies and procedures, as well as advising internal stakeholders on data protection matters.
You will identify privacy risks, conduct data protection impact assessments and serve as the primary contact for supervisory authorities and data subjects.
Functie-eisen
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in data privacy or a related field;
- Strong understanding of data protection laws and regulatory frameworks, particularly GDPR;
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a knack for translating complex privacy challenges into actionable solutions;
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment;
- Experience with privacy management platforms such as OneTrust (or similar) is considered an asset;
- Comfortable navigating change and ambiguity, with a proactive approach and the adaptability to take on evolving responsibilities.
