For a vital project in the healthcare sector, we are looking for a pragmatic and knowledgeable Privacy & Information Security Officer to help a hospital strengthen its compliance with data protection regulations and improve its resilience against cyber threats. You will play a central role in safeguarding sensitive health data in line with NEN 7510 and GDPR requirements.

Given the sensitivity of healthcare data and the complexity of clinical IT systems, they are seeking a specialist who can bridge privacy, security, and operational risk.
Functie
As the Privacy & Security Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and aligning privacy and security programs within the hospital. You will lead DPIAs, assess third-party risks, develop and update policies, coordinate awareness training, and serve as a point of contact for DPOs, auditors, and internal stakeholders. Additionally, you will help ensure compliance with NEN 7510, ISO 27001, and GDPR, and support incident response and policy enforcement activities.
Functie-eisen
- Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in privacy, information security, or compliance, preferably in healthcare;
- Solid knowledge of GDPR, NEN 7510, ISO 27001, and other healthcare-relevant standards;
- Experience conducting risk assessments and DPIAs;
- Ability to collaborate with medical, IT, legal, and administrative stakeholders;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Experience in awareness programs and policy documentation;
- Fluency in Dutch is strongly preferred.
Aanbod
