A leading financial institution in North Holland is seeking a Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of ethical behavior. This role is integral to maintaining trust and safeguarding the organization’s reputation in the financial sector.
Functie
As a Compliance Officer, you will act as a key advisor and guardian of the organization’s compliance framework. You will monitor regulatory developments, provide guidance on compliance matters, and implement policies to mitigate risks. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will ensure that all activities align with applicable laws and internal standards.
Functie-eisen
- Experience in compliance or regulatory roles, preferably within the financial sector;
- Familiarity with financial laws, regulations, and supervisory requirements (eg, Wwft, MiFID II, GDPR);
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex regulatory texts;
- Excellent communication skills to effectively advise management and train staff;
- Ability to maintain independence and objectivity while working collaboratively with teams;
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field;
- Relevant certifications, such as CAMS, CCEP, or Compliance Professional Certification, are an advantage.
Aanbod
- 40 hours per week;
- 6-month assignment;
- Possibility of contract extension;

- Proficiency in both Dutch and English.
